Password Protect your folder in Windows without any Software With This Simple Technique

This is an interesting simple trick to password protect folder without using any software. I am actually bit too late in sharing this trick since I encountered it a long back. Actually here we are using batch file programming to get this going. This technique works on all the windows platform. Simply follow the below given steps.



Step 1:
Copy paste the below code into a new text file (into notepad).

Step 2:
Save the notepad file as locked.bat (.bat is must)

Step 3: Now double click on lock.bat and a new folder will be created with name LockFolder

Step 4:
Copy all your data you want to protect in that New folder

Step 5: Now double click on lock.bat and when command prompt appears Type Y and press enter.

Step 6: 

Now MyFolder will be hidden from you view, to access that folder double click on locked.bat

Step 7:It will ask for password enter your password and done. (Default password is 'jaxxindia')

• To change the password simply replace jaxxindia with  new password in the above code.

OPTIONAL

You may hide the locked.bat file from folder options. Or save this '.bat' file in some other location.

Remember that this trick works only with kids n novices. :P :D
